Ooooooh, that WOULD explain the need to have mastered the English language (or at least the most believable one), though apparently the follow through (moving to the states to have the American's awed by this mastering of said language) was derailed by something or someone
While I am here (because apparently your icon here is my breaking point in the wondering)... And not that that is a proven answer to this question, but the ring that Tuti wears on his pinky... is it significant for anything that we are aware of? I mean, I know they all have this and that piece of jewelry but that ring is more of a constant that anything else with the boy, and I have just always... wondered (and now that I'm thinking about it... if memory serves me correct - there is a fic out there written about it, isn't there *will have to check memories*)
I have no clue when he started wearing it, but I've always seen him with it o_O Even in situations where he wasn't wearing anything else (well, topwise at least--I definitely remember a photoshoot or two with him topless but still wearing that ring).
Funnily enough, Wiki says:
"The pinky ring was a fashionable jewelry accessory for male homosexuals during the 1950s through the 1970s" :DDDDD
Eiji wears one, too ;) This either means they're both gay, or married to one another (...which would include the former, I assume). Hmm.
Possibly, though, he's just a creature of habit XD Which I could definitely see in that an :P
I know Tuti's worn it for a while... and granted, it's not like an every day thing, but now of days, it's the first thing I notice in a new pic if he is wearing it. It's like my eye is trained to seek it out or something, and I haven't a clue why it's important. *shrugs*
And I know I've seen Eiji with one, but I guess, I didn't think his was always the same one, where Tuti's is ALWAYS the same (looks like two smaller rings fused together/wide bad with an indented ring around it - you know what I am saying) Then again, I don't have as many pics of Eiji saved on my HD as I do Tuti so...
As a side note... now mind you, I don't have the best timeline memorized in my head in regards to Tuti and Takashi... but during Takashi's Blossam idol DVD and one of the TeniMyu photosets he wears this chain that has three rings (or ring like circles) hanging it on it that always (after I noticed it the first time) makes me go, "Huh?"

Maybe that is why this ring intrigues me so. I obviously don't have enough things in life to occupy my time...
And yeah, I totally get Tuti as a creature of habit
