The other day, eiko_c posted to her LJ about how this photo pretty much sums up the guys in fandom:

At the time, I was just so overwhelmed with them all being together AT LONG LAST that I, for some reason, thought Nagayan's pic of Eiji, Tuti, and Daiki was cooler. WHAT A LOSER I WAS.

*ahem*

eiko_c, I apologize for being a blind fool. I've been staring at this pic for, like, 2 days now. And I just can't get over it. I think it's because Tuti took it that really gets me. You have Nagayan, blending seamlessly into the group, sharing some joke or funny picture or text message with Eiji and Daiki, who're right there together ~~because that's how they were posed for the pic, idiot~~ complete with Eiji looking for all intents and purposes like he's got his fucking chin on Daiki's shoulder (reminding me, happily enough, of this fic - I completely don't care it's an optical illusion :P), and they're just this...little unit within a unit. Wasshi's there as well, but more standing on his own, being himself within the unit, and then you have Tuti. Tuti there on the end, taking it all in, and snapping a picture that just seamlessly packages this moment in time into pixel form, with Nagayan smack in the middle and looking like he just belongs there.

I dunno, this is just...a really. Really nice pic, now that I look at it more closely. This is the world I write fic in, the world I like to think it what's really going on underneath all our noses. And to have Tuti capture it so perfectly? Only makes it better.
