It really ticks me off how little love 5th cast is getting. Over a year they've been doing their thing, albeit competing with 4th cast most of the time, and most people couldn't name any members if I held a gun to their head.

More than half of the replies on my recent scan post to tenipuri_myu which included a huge pack of T2 scans, and then a single Hirata and Takiguchi scan:

Of the rest, not a single one mentioned they were appreciative of the T2 scans.

I mean, I should be happy people enjoy what I put up, and of course people are entitled to like what they like. But just...I mean, NO comments on T2? Pretty much the most-pimped of all the actors in 5th cast? Shitenhouji are ALL getting more attention than THE MAIN CHARACTERS IN THE SERIES. And it's really pissing me off :(

You could argue, "Well, it's just too much on the heels of 4th cast" blahblahblah, but they've had a YEAR'S WORTH of Myus--3!--to grow to like these guys. And even if you didn't like the rival teams, there were backstages and event reports and photosets to enjoy.

I don't know what to do, though. I write fic, 2 people read it (and that's really no one's fault, I mean--if you like reading fic about them, you do, and if you don't, you don't--I write the fic cause I like it and want to get it out, but it's certainly more fun knowing other people enjoy it as well), I put up scans, no one is thankful for them, I translate articles and draft huge, long-ass reports, and it just goes over most people's heads.

And it's not just T2 and 5th cast even, all my fandoms are losing traction, losing ANYONE participating in them beyond a few stalwarts who are getting less and less involved. I'm pretty sure hitome_bore/kooriyoukai's gone for good if she even remembers fandom anymore, and those us who ARE still writing/fangirling I can count on one hand. I rip DVDs, write up huge reports, and no one gives anything back. Do I want money? Hell no (...lies XD;). Do I want people to pay out the ass and come keep me company? YesI'm a big girl, I can survive on my own. But do I do this for a purpose! Uh, DUH! I do this so people can share in my joy, have one less obstacle separating them and these amazingly talented guys, but I get pretty much nothing in return save some appreciated fangirling from people who've been in fandom as long as I have. And I love you guys who DO appreciate it, but seriously, what the hell happened to PARTICIPATING IN FANDOM, everyone else?!

I just want someone to play with, dammit.
