Chikaaaan~!!
29 October 2007 01:51 pmSo I was over an hour late getting out of Tokyo yesterday evening, for two reasons--one of which was avoidable (my card wasn't working, and I didn't have any cash handy to buy a shinkansen ticket because I hadn't bothered to withdraw any from the 7-11 before leaving Shiinamachi), and one which wasn't (almost all the major lines in Tokyo were stalled for 30 minutes because of a "person on the tracks", which I couldn't tell if it was a terrorist or an accident or what XD)
Yes, I was stuck on a Yamanote train leaving Ikebukuro for some 30 minutes yesterday, not moving at all, and was really wondering WHY--found out! Apparently there was a guy who groped a woman on the Yamanote and then fled police after she alerted station attendants by JUMPING ONTO THE TRAIN TRACKS. Story here.
WTF Japan...

Date: 2007-10-29 05:05 am (UTC)I heard about that and nearly died laughing. A big pain in the ass with delaying all those train, yet rather hilarious (only because I wasn't on a train at the time). Thankfully your wait wasn't any longer then an hour!
The last time someone groped me on the train the guy got an elbow to the face =).

I know it seems mean but... I couldn't help laughing xD
That women should've either:
A) Kick the guy in the balls
B) Attack at own will
C) Do something xD
But man!...Are there perverts out there >>
