A Visit to the NHK Building, or How I Learned To Stop Hating Gaku and Just Really Dislike Him

So I went to the Kitty Guys street live :DDDDDD

The building was quite easy to find, thanks to everyone who gave me help! I lucked out and fell into step outside Harajuku station behind a group of girls all decked out to the 9s in KG pink jumpsuits.

When we got to KG's "area," it was marked by a single mic stand with a Kitty Guys bag hanging:



When I got there, there were about 6 or 7 people total (about 30 minutes before), and by the time the guys showed up, there were probably closer to 30--quite a nice turnout.



It was just Gaku, Tachibana, and Iwashita this time. While they set up, they kind of checked out the audience, and as soon as Gaku saw me his jaw kind of dropped again, and he smiled and gave me a little nod ♥

They did a couple of little skits, and some dancing--to such great hits as "The Mickey Mouse Club" and "Backstreet's Back" by the Backstreet Boys XDDDDD I wanted to DIE laughing.

The thing only lasted about 30 minutes, and attracted quite a crowd--including Yamashita-tenchou (Gain's manager) and wtf a random MALE Nagayan fan o_O who was quite attractive and I almost mistook for Nagayan himself.

After the show, they guys hung out talking to fans, and while I was just going to go ahead and go, I decided to put aside my own feelings for the good of the fandom and pimp myself some more. I hung out in the line that formed (yes, stagger in surprise, Gaku has FANS :OOOOO) behind Gaku, and waited my fate.

I was wearing my shirt I bought in Gain during my first visit that he autographed, and the girl standing beside me in line was quite curious as to what it said, because she kept stealthily trying to lean around and see what it said. She finally worked up the courage to outright ask, and I told her the story. She and I started to talk about the guys, and conversed with the two girls behind us, too.

We talked about where we were from (one of the girls was from Osaka), and when they asked where I was from and I said Shiga, the Osaka girl looked at me strangely and asked, "...Did you go to Secret Box? o_O" XDDDDD Apparently I stick out? XD news to me

When it finally was my turn, Gaku shook my hand and told me, "Hisashiburi da na!" ("It's been a while, huh!") XDDDDD I agreed it had indeed been a while, and he pointed to the shirt excitedly, ecstatic I was wearing it (durr XD) He then cottoned on, I suppose, to the fact that I wasn't just visiting Japan and obviously had a job--because he asked what work I did. When I told him I taught English at a middle school, his eyes kind of bugged out (...more so than usual? XD) "MAJI DE?!" Yes, maji desu.

I decided to test how powerful my Gaijin Influence was (as proven effective on Gain managers in the past at revealing secrets), and told him I had something to ask, "Soooo...Nagayama-san's having his Live and all next month...you aren't...by any chance...gonna be in it, huh?"

He looked from side to side to see if anyone was listening, and put a finger to his lips and said he wasn't allowed to say anything but maaaaayyyyybe :DDDDDD If he WAS then it would be a SECRET after all, hint hint nudge nudege. He hoped I would come. Yay.

...So yeah, that's about as close as we're gonna get to an admission that yeeaaah -_- Gaku's gonna be in it AGAIN. RARGH.

In the end, since everyone was doing it, I decided to get another pic for the lulz.

After I went, the girl I'd been conversing with went, and I waited on her to finish, then asked if we could exchange cellphone info, which we did. Her name is, I think, Satona (I couldn't hear very well in the crowd), and she's into pretty much everything I am XD She saw Aru Hi and Secret Box, her favorite *pnish* member is Daiki, and she's a BuriMyu fan~~~~

She asked me if I had any other plans, and when I said I didn't, she asked if I wanted to go to Gain with her, because she had NO idea how to get there. Earlier, the KG guys had pimped their stuff and tried to tell everyone how to get to Gain, but gave CRAP directions XDDDDD I told her it was an easy trip and I was planning to go anyways. So we headed back to the station and made our way to Gain.

There were 5 or 6 other girls in there at the moment, so we chatted with Tenchou until the crowd dwindled some. He remembered my name seeing the shirt again and asked us how we enjoyed the performance. It was gads of fun talking to him again, he's SUCH a nice guy *flails*

Satona and I bought the new KG bag (quite big, so definitely a good investment XD) and I asked Tenchou if there were any of the Nagayan/Kime collab shirts left--which there were, quite a lot! I bought a red one and am quite happy ♥

Satona and I had a BLAST, and she's sending me copies of Namae de Yobu Na tte (the show with Eiki and Tatsuya being hawt), along with some Eiki plays (she's a big Eiki fan XD), and I'm sending her all the Ons I have (which I have NEVER seen someone use so many exclamation points in thanks XD)

All in all, a VERY profitable weekend!
