Nagayan and International Film Awards!

FUN NEWS! As many of you may remember, Nagayan was in the movie Sakugoe last year (the DVD actually was just released yesterday, February 22), and...it's already won an award at an international film festival!

You can see the full list here for the 2008 Gone With the Film Festival (which from the website doesn't look like a very big deal >_>) held in Filmore, California.

Checking the official Sakugoe blog turned up the following:

Sakugoe won the award for Best Foreign Language Film at the "Gone With the Film Festival," held January 18th through 20th in California, America! The GWtFF is a film festival which draws independent works from all over the world, placing emphasis on life and humanity as the theme.

Sakugoe has crossed oceans, and is starting to reach people all over the world.

WOW *____* I know it's not saying TOO much since it doesn't look like a very big film festival (and let's face it, Boys Love has won "acclaim" at some festivals, that doesn't mean it's Oscar worthy XD), but still!

Is it just me or does the BuriMyu rehearsal hall look like a school gym? I mean, the basketball-court floor, the curtained-off stage...I feel like the guys are practicing for their commencement ceremony XDDDDD

Also, Nagayan's been wearing the same shirt for, like, 3 days now...unless Tuti took that picture 3 days ago 8D He's wearing the same thing here (which IIRC is the shirt from KoiParaDora? The one with 'blossam' on the back?)

No, I don't feel bad at all that I immediately recognized Nagayan in the SMALL version of the pic on Tuti's blog before blowing it up and squealing even more. Oh Tuti...
