See? I can be useful at times
13 February 2005 09:00 pmI, for one, think this is more useful than a QUIZ *coughcough* that certain other people spam my friends page with.
So, I saw 'Constantine' over a week before it came out (erm, is coming out, as it STILL isn't out at this point), last Thursday. Mastercard sponsored a free showing here at A&M, so the roomie and I went and indulged.
DEFINITELY one of the better Keanu Reeves movies. I think I like him as an anti-hero rather than a straight good guy, and he pulls it off well here without coming across as too angsty and crap like that. Also, the romantic interest wasn't really pursued, with the only on-screen kiss being a little peck (no Neo/Trinity here).
Special effects were awesome--Lucifer rocked my socks as the Devil shouldn't, and Gabriel was delightfully androgynous. Decided I do not want to die by flies. Lots of 'jump in your seat' moments, but overall it was just a great movie, IMHO. VERY funny at times, and not really cheesy except when it tried.
I reccommend it to all you peoples, so go! GO SEE IT! Erm, next Friday at least.
Oh, also: am still too chicken to ask parental units the results of the Lottery, and uncle didn't see fit to tell me when I babysat his kids this weekend...
