So, I spent free time at work today putting up this -- which I'm going to try and develop as a more "professional" review blog than I currently have.

Of course I'm going to keep posting to my long, drawn out, extremely fangirly reports to my report blog, but whenever I encounter a situation where I'd like to have a website/blog to direct someone to as an example of what exactly I've been doing while I'm over here WITHOUT coming off like a creepy stalker...it'd be nice to have some sort of journalistic-style site that's "just the facts, ma'am" in a short amount of space.

I'm going to try and keep the entries under 500 words, because if, say, some certain idol magazine or four wanted to put in a little English blurb section or something, space would be decidedly limited :P I'd probably be better off doing 200-or-less, but this is a good start for now. I have ZERO experience writing for magazines or newspapers and have taken no journalism courses of any sort, so if any of you HAVE and have any suggestions or advice, I'm all ears :)

I'm going to go back through my report blog little by little and try and condense the lengthy summaries into interesting short reports, and only have the most recent T2 event up at the moment but...it's a start! It's not going to be terribly serious, but I'm working up~

Thoughts? :)

Also, on an unrelated note -- does anyone have scans of Bokura no Oukoku? Like, the old Aku-Tenshi scanlations or anything? For some reason I was thinking about it today and remembered liking it...but I don't have it! I'd love it if anyone could lend me a hand down memory lane :)

So, I'm toying with the idea of using the WayBack Machine to go back and translate all the old *pnish* and Nagayan blog entries I can get my hands on (so c. 2001 and on) before they disappear from the web entirely.

This will of course require me to make a new subdomain to house it in, and I'm trying to figure out what it should be! HELP ME FLIST!

[Poll #1309670]

A few caveats: it may not necessarily be ONLY *pnish* + Nagayan (if I find the original Japanese for those old blog entries of Kime's re: TeniMyu parties, you can damn well bet they're going up here), but it will be PRIMARILY them. Also, it may not only be these old old entries, but it will be that for a while at least.

I'm going to (attempt to) backdate all the entries to the exact day/time they were posted as well, to help with archiving purposes ^_^

Good/Bad idea??

So, I thought I'd try something new...and I've made a blog. Here.

"But you already have a blog here on LJ o_O" I hear you protest.

Well of course LJ will still be my main blog, but I've been wanting to pimp up the ol' domain, since I'm paying for it and all, and decided I needed something of a blog to actually put USEFUL stuff on that people outside of LJ might be able to find.

That being said, this new blog will house all my Japan performance stuff--reports, info, random posts about theaters and actors and all kinds of stuff that will, hopefully, help someone out somewhere along the way when they want to actually glean something useful from all my wanderings from venue to venue :P

I'm working on getting all my old performance reports over there atm, so...I dunno, link to it? XD

In other news, advance tickets for Daiki's Ayakashi go on sale tomorrow morning -- anyone who wants to go who doesn't have the Lawson's info to get them, just leave a comment and I'll hook ya up :D

I'm gonna try for the evening show on his birthday, definitely, and then [livejournal.com profile] daiki_dansu and I are going to try for the Saturday evening show as well. I wanna go to senshuuraku, but don't have anyone to go with at the moment...*hinthint*
