So, randomly: I was just rereading all the posts I made back during the earthquake, and saw all the comments people gave me out of concern and stuff, and...it stupidly made me happy again :3 So umm, thank you people on the interwebs :x I know I don't comment on people's posts and stuff that often, but...I'm glad that I'm interesting enough for people to care about whether or not I was swallowed up as Japan plunged into the Pacific XD

Holy crap o___o According to this article, AU, Docomo, and Softbank will all increase the number of smartphones in their line up to account for at least half of the phones they have available in the future, and Softbank in particular intends to complete stop selling feature phones (traditional keitai) and instead sell only smartphones (iPhone, Android, Blackberry) within the next 2-3 years o___o (there's apparently also talk that they'll introduce phones that LOOK like feature phones but are powered by Android)

Craziness! Hopefully this means that SOMEONE will fix the inability of smartphones to access keitai-only sites soon though >_> There is so much I'm missing on the Visual Boy site it isn't even funny D:

On my way back through Ikebukuro station after dinner with amyused and imma_holiday this evening, I was visually assaulted with advertisements for a certain new BL anime XD



Subtle, people. Really subtle. This is only about half, btw--they were all over the East entrance XD;;; I know Japan isn't all that shy about advertising their lady-oriented manporn, but I was more than a little shocked to see it all over one of the major busy entrances to the station. At least the shota pornKuroshitsuji advertisements had been in a relatively little-traveled area of Sunshine City last I saw...

So my DVD came yesterday and of course I set to ripping! I haven't actually gotten to sit down and watch it because I have company who is not the TeniMyu-watching type, unfortunately, but I did snag some time to make some caps!

IN OTHER NEWS. Shouta bb is talking about his bbf again ;~; He went to see a Shinsengumi show last night that Kubobe-nii was in, and of course this prompted all the commenters to remind him that his very bestest friend Tsuji is currently in a Shinsengumi drama that's airing ummmm! His comments in response were as thus:

Only talked about the boys I care about, which are:

Oshitari: Wow, you are...a very genki Oshitari XD; But you say you're a good singer, so that bodes well. Your Oshitari voice sounds a little forced (like someone's Saitou imitation tbh XDDD), but everyone sounds pretty bad in these vids initially, plus the change was kind of sudden from your genki normal voice so that didn't really help XD I still have hope for you, though :D You didn't disappoint :DDDDD

Gakuto: omg Gakuto you are kind of adorable and I actually REALLY like your Gakuto voice. Also, Eiken 2kyuu? YES PLEASE TO BE TALKING ENGLISH THX. WILLIKERS. I actually hate these videos because they don't give a very good impression of the guys because it's all reading off cue-cards and makes them sound stilted and weird. Really, the only part worth watching IS their IC sign-off, and since this kid was quite good with his IMHO, I'm happy :D

Tomoruuuuu: I won't even call you Jirou because you are just Tomoru to me atm so HI. PLEASE CONTINUE WITH THIS AWESOME CUTE GENKI ATMOSPHERE BECAUSE YOU ROCK.

In related news: I traded in my ticket for the TeniMyu that got canceled for one to tomorrow's show XD I will probably have a nosebleed seat, but that's okay: I'M GOING. And then going again Saturday. Which will be after I go see Shounen Hollywood on Thursday. Hee. Busy week XD;

It's that time of year again~ I'm glad I made it back in time to see them! :D

ETA: Also LOLOLOLOL. So Nagayan says here that he's supposed to be growing out his beard/moustache...and is seen, unfortunately, doing so for about a weekish (or attempting to. The results are pretty laughable). And then yesterday he shows up all freshly shaven.

Director realized Nagayan + Facial Hair = Does Not Compute?? Whatever the reason, thank GOD, as this means he'll either be beardless or get something stick-on for Shounen Hollywood. Huzzah! I couldn't handle TWO hair-related no-nos on Nagayan in so short a span of time...

Does anyone know the deadline for picking up/mailing in the JLPT submission form in Japan? I'm worried I won't be back in time to get it done if it's, like, mid-April...

Alternatively, anyone in Japan near-ish a Kinokuniya or something and can pick me one up? :<
