But I did. And kept myself from getting too morose by capping the shit out of T2 because, surprise surprise, they are ichaicha as always XDDDDD ( Cut in an effort to contain their immense gay. )
Bored on the way to work and loving listening to this soundtrack, I decided to try and transcribe/translate 5th cast's ballad, Destiny. I really was iffy about this song the first time I heard it, but having a lot of memories associated with it now, it really is something special and I've come to really enjoy listening to it. Behind the cut are the lyrics and translation. Not for people without a tissue box at hand ;_;
Also, fyi GEEZ IT SOUNDS REALLY SLASHY. Like, seriously.
come on, only SOME of them are sleeping together; the whole team isn't involved in one big orgy! Also also, I did this by ear XD; Because I didn't have the lyrics book with me. So, apologies for any mistakes :P ( Read more... )
Like, god--RYUUKI. Ryuuki. I had a hard time trying to decide who I liked better as Echizen, Shougo or Ryuuki. They're both so great, both great singers, great actors, had their characterizations down...but maybe just because I've been exposed to Ryuuki more, I love this boy. The sheer emotion he gives so unemotional a character as Ryoma in Kurayami ~ Boku wa Dare 2 minutes in--he's fricking crying tears of frustration, and that's an awesome thing.
And I want to have Masuda's voice's babies. I feel a little pregnant just from ima omae ni yarou, ore no yoyuu...
I know I already mentioned this way back when, but Shinogi wo Kezuru Mono-tachi is totally one of my favorite songs in that show (probably my favorite non-Graduation-related song at least).
Lololololol at one point I didn't really like 5th cast's ballad, GOD WAS I STUPID. 1st cast singing it and now attaching all these memories to it has made it totally sdifuhsildfusd ;___;
Tsuji's gotten really good at singing, or at least sounded good 1 min into Level Up (which btw I love also :P). Also lololololol T2 mini duet in that song for a whole 1 verse? XD
Ebo's crying during his opening line of Banzai ;_____; ilusm Ebooooo ;_; But holy FUCK does Shouta sound ADORABLE after it. That boy brings the absolute cuteness and excitement back to Kikumaru, ffffffff this BITCH.
Hell, I just love the crap out of this entire show, especially the final 20 min or so ;___; IS IT ONE WEEK FROM NOW YET?! <--BECAUSE THAT'S WHEN THE DVD COMES OUT 8DDDDD
Tsuji: "It's mine and Shouta's second time to have a match together, but the biggest difference between last time and this time is that we had a song this time... We sang about the feelings we had for each other as partners, working in songs from previous shows. That was really big."
Shouta: "Yeah. It was really tough getting the singing and dancing to match up. And on top of it all the song itself was pretty up-tempo..."
Tsuji: "It's like, we really wanted to sing it happy and brightly, but honestly we were working hard the whole time! (haha) While having a good time, of course."
Shouta: "Yup, and we also practiced a lot to sync our breathing. Like sitting around with Tsuji-kun reading the same script together."
Tsuji: "We did that~"
Shouta: "Or after rehearsals we'd go out to dinner together and talk about stupid stuff, or about performances."
Tsuji: "Now that I think about it, we've spent more time together just the two of us than any of the rest of the cast."
Shouta: "Yup--and I think that's why, with each passing show, it felt more and more like, 'Ah, our breathing's in sync~'"
--So tell us about the graduation scene in the winter shows.
Shouta: "My first thought about the graduation scene is that it was a dark, sad time. So I wanted to really honestly portray Kikumaru's feelings of sadness, but we were actually told, 'The Golden Pair should have a bright, happy conversation.' We'd had to sing a song about parting ways during the summer shows, so I really couldn't help but feel sad...but Ueshima-sensei told us, 'You should be an Oishi and Kikumaru who've overcome their sadness and are purposefully speaking to each other normally,' and when I heard that, I started to understand and agree, and wound up doing it to my satisfaction. Like, it's fine to just listen to what Oishi has to say and respond naturally, without betraying my feelings."
Tsuji: "That first time when I call out, 'Eiji'..."
Shouta: "There were about 20 different versions of that name-calling! (haha)"
Tsuji: "I'd change up how I said it a lot of the time, but Shouta would always get right on board and go along with it, so I was always able to act really naturally."
I know most others on the flist haven't seen it yet, but I always thought it just...felt a little weird and forced for Eiji and Oishi to be so normal and happy after their graduation. I guess I can see how they would be? That Eiji, despite his feelings of sadness, wouldn't want to show them in front of everyone and would try to be happy and genki, but...I really really wanted to see Tsuji and Shouta just lay it all out there as their characters ;_;
Ah well, at least we got to see them baring it all at senshuuraku as themselves XD
And the one who patted me on the back when I was nervous as hell and made all my nerves completely disappear, was Tsuji-kun!
Iyaaaa, when I think about it, we really are a pair~ (haha)
Ah! And changing topics, but I didn't learn how to twirl my racket until the end of rehearsals, and Yasuka-kun taught me! (haha) Now I'm great at it (・∀・)
And I taught Tsuji-kun~ (haha)
(needs mooooaaaar pics with Tsuji dammit)
Went digging through Akki's blog (5th Kaidoh) for the first time a while today and found the following:
Naoya and Tomo went to see the show~ (Tomo looks...really really weird. And Naoya is far too happy XD Akki looks the Kaidoh-est of them all :P)
T2 photobomb~! (okay maybe not photobombing as they all took pics like this XD)
Crazy Tsuji is CRAZY XD
I really love that so many of the guys appear to be going to see the show XD Not just first cast, but others too--Shirota, Adachi, and Aiba went for 2nd (well, Aiba is 3rd too I suppose XD), now Tomo's gone -- who else has gone?
Charred meat was crazy good (we got some really nice cuts of rosu tonight *____*), and tomorrow is karaoke, possibly with cake, definitely with singing old Myu songs and finding out if any good new songs have made it in :P
GUESS WHAT COME OUT ON THE SAME DAY DDDDDDD:
AND THIS THING
WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO RIP FIRST?!
OH WAIT, IT GETS BETTER.
GUESS WHAT THAT DAY ALSO IS: OPENING DAY. NOT FOR ANYTHING FUCKING EPIC, THANK GOD. OH WAIT.
WHY DOES LIFE HAAAAATE ME. gdi you people have 12 MONTHS, 365 DAYS to spread these things out over and you pack it all in on a single day?!
So help me god if ShibaTora airs May 20, I'm gonna have to cut a bitch.
( Cut to fangirl about T2 fun this evening )
Shifting topics, the MahaMo backstage is up and ripped, and the honpen should be up in the morning. I thought I was being so zomg clever using two different computers so I could rip two things at once...but any cleverness was canceled out when I went and ripped the backstage twice :P Smooth move, Exlax. So, yeah XD; REAL honpen is ripping now :P As thanks, all you writers can get out there and fill the void with Nataraja/Pasupata (OR VISHNU/PARVATI. NOT PICKY) for me to drool over :D
1) Nagayan...you do know it's not supposed to be official that you're doing ShibaTora again, right? Or are you just pretending, "Haaaaay we're totes doing another random drama together!"????
2) Tuti. Guitar. Ghibli music apparently. Nagayan sitting beside him in the seat.
3) Take enough pictures of Tuti there, Nagayan?
God, today was awesome. I will spam with comments and thoughts about the awesomeness that was Final Match 2 in the morning while I wait for MahaMo to arrive :DDDDD
Woke up at 9 AM and remembered with a jolt that both TeniMyu Live Viewing tickets as well as *pnish* room tickets were going on sale at 10 AM, CRISIS AVERTED. Unfortunately, it still didn't mean I had any better chance of getting them >_> Tried for *pnish* tickets on THREE DIFFERENT FRONTS and didn't get a SINGLE ONE. Same story with TeniMyu tickets until I got lucky at a loppi machine after I'd lost all hope ;_; Nabbed a Shinjuku Wald Theater ticket (the main Tokyo theater that TeniMyu rents out every screen to show the Live Viewing on) on row G, but kind of off to the side. STILL! Way better than my LAST ROW TICKET last time!! *dances*
Luckily, the Room tickets were only advance sales, and so maybe I can get more people to help me get some next week at general sales *crosses fingers* If not, there's always Y!Auctions or Mixi, and the hope that there might be toujitsuken~ *not giving up*
And, juuuuust to make my day even better starting off...oh, Nagayan.
So I just ripped into the Nataraja/Pasupata doujinshi Mitsuru and Asami put out for winter Comiket that the lovely and always helpful darksprite picked up for me because I was depressed in America :DDDDDD AND IT JUST MADE ME LOVE THEM ALL OVER AGAIN.
Of course there is awkwardness and adorableness and Shiva barging in at the wrong time going, "HAY YOU GUYZ WHAT'RE YOU DOING HAY I GOT SOME BOOZE HAY WHY ARE YOU STANDING SO CLOSE TO EACH OTHER??? HAAAAY :DDDDDD" as Shiva is wont to do. ALSO THERE IS VISHNU/PARVATI WHICH IS TOTES FINE AND GRAND TOO AND MAN I NEED TO WRITE MORE OF THESE GUYS NAAAOOOOO.
*will scan some evidence in the morning kk*
Oh and I appear to have won not one but TWO tickets I was bidding on for TeniMyu Tokyo Return shows...one of which is FRONT ROW >_> Kind of off to the side a bit, but STILL. WHAT. The other is between rows 3 and 7, which is kind of weird that they don't specify, but seeing as I got them both for less than 8000 each, I AIN'T COMPLAINING. *waits for tickets* Now all I need to worry about is the Live viewing tickets going on sale at month's end!
My ripper isn't behaving >_> Or rather, the DVD isn't behaving...I'm gonna try a few things, but this isn't making me happy >_>
While I work on this, have a super suuuuuper sappy Golden Pair duet/ballad/medley LOVE SONG + translations :D ( Read more... )
BECAUSE I TOTALLY FORGOT SHOUTA'S BIRTHDAY WAS DURING THE RUN AND OF COOUUUURSE THEY TAPED IT AND OF COOUUUURSE HE'S ADORABLE AND TSUJI WITH THE CAKE AND SDFLSIUDHFLSIUDFHLSIDFSDFS
THERE IS WAY TO MUCH T2 GOODNESS ON THIS THING DAMMIT. I CANNOT POSSIBLY CAP IT ALL.
BUT I'M GONNA TRY.
Also, if anyone has the CD and wants to give me links to it I'd love you forever ;_; I forgot to pick it up when I went to get the (3-disc big) DVDs today and sdlifuhsdf I want it for the plaaaaaane.
Eeeee skip to 3:40 to hear Tsuji and Shouta paying homage to Tuti and Nagayan ala, "Ore to omae wa Golden Pair~" *flails* (also the rest of it's pretty kickass too 8D)
IS IT THURSDAY YET?!
GOD I really really really hope I win these tickets ;_; REALLY.
I met the guy once, 2 years ago (the last time I saw the friend) when she brought him home for Christmas to meet her parents. I'm just kinda bowled over that we drifted that far apart :/ Granted, she's really active on facebook, which is how I found out (...through ANOTHER friend seeing it and telling me) but...well, email?
I hate facebook so fricking much. And I can't stand people who use it as their primary means of staying in touch with others. It's such a BAD SITE XD;;;;;
In other news: anyone know any good challenge comms? Not to join, but for me to pick off challenges from XD Those little things like "50_kisses" or whatever. I mostly just want the prompts, cause I have an urge to write little things and want some kind of format to follow.
Also, I have the Inui+Kaidoh duet from RikkaiMyu stuck in my head and don't know why. I only know, like, 2 lines from it, though. So those two are on constant repeat in my head and it's getting FUCKING ANNOYING XD;;;; I like the song, but sheesh.
"Stand up sempai"
"Kurushii no wa...ima dake"
--"Tachiagatte teki wo...misueyou."
