Let's try and be productive with that meme again... ( Day 6 - Your Favorite Pairing )
( Day 4 - A team and/or character that deserved more screentime )
And next we have...
( Day 5 - A character that you thought had an interesting 40.5 profile )
Ooh, YAY! AU's finally getting a cellphone people have HEARD OF! The HTC Evo is apparently coming to AU in April! I'm fine with them not having the iPhone and whatnot, but it's really worrying not having a reliable cellphone maker to purchase from and being stuck using a phone that is at the mercy of AU as far as updates go :/ Will be interesting to see how that pans out!
In other news, this weekend (Saturday) is the TeniMyu Supporter's Club Fan Event! idk what it's gonna be, only that it'll be pathetically short XD; But it only cost me 1500 yen, so what can I complain about? :P Will bring back a full report afterwards :3
In other other news, I'm stealing the 30-days-of-TeniPuri/TeniMyu meme from caraichu :3
( Day 1 - Your Favorite Team/Character (and we'll throw in Actor for the Myus :D) )
Christmas was good to me :D I received money for a new bed (my old one is a) too small for me and b) breaking XD;;;) which I'll be procuring as soon as I get back and can get them to come pick up my old one! I also received a new sheet set, complete with comforter, for said bed, and it has a familiar pattern on it :DDDDD (it wasn't coincidence, btw XD; I picked it out ahead of time and it was waiting all nice and wrapped for me under the tree <333). In addition to this, I received a wad of cash and a few Best Buy gift cards, which I immediately threw back at Best Buy in exchange for a 32gig 4G ipod touch XD;
While I've grown to really like it, it makes me realize what it would be like with an iphone vs. the android phone that I have now...and I really think I'd go for the android over it :/ It's got great response and feels smoother than my android, and the interface in general is really pretty, plus the touch at least is really small and thin and light. But it feels like 90% of the apps are pay (even if it's low, like 99 cents or something), whereas I was always hard-pressed to find pay apps on android. All the great fun apps that were free on android, like a lot of the card game apps I enjoy, are all pay unless you want super crappy quality or hamstrung apps on the touch :/
But I digress! Where it lags in cheap, decent quality apps, it excels in playback XD The sound's amazing, it's huge and can hold all my library with room to spare, and it's great quality for video playback too :3 a sound investment, all things considered! Also a blessing during those awkward family trips to see relatives when all I have is that and a neighbor's leeched wireless signal XD
In other news, it's December 28! And I need to meme up 2010 while I still have time! Stole this one from nikki_aino ( behind here! )
The Works In Progress Meme
Find any fanfiction in progress that you have lying around your computer. Post excerpts from all of it. Maybe inspiration will strike.
( Haru/Izumi - Izumi Turns 20 )
( Nataraja/Pasupata, semi-AU where Pasupata's parents purchase Nataraja as a servant for their son and they grow up together )
( Vishnu/Parvati - Uncomfortable situation in bed... )
Name a fandom, and I'll tell you at least three unpopular opinions of mine related to that fandom.
Be warned, I may have more than 3 :DDDDD
I ask this because for some reason I want to share something bizarre, because I randomly remembered it...
So, in elementary school, our school had this system where students from, like, grades 3-5 got to help out in the cafeteria on a weekly rotation. Most enjoyed this, because you got out of class for a little while, you got free lunches and any extras you wanted, and it was pretty easy work--you set up chairs or helped load dishes into those big trays to go through the industrial dishwasher, which was FUN for little kids :D
Well, come middle school, they of course didn't have that sort of thing, which miffed me, because I really enjoyed it. So...I asked one of the lunch ladies if I could help. And surprise surprise, they decided to let me. So, over a semester or so, I and a few other kids got to hang out behind the scenes in the kitchen and gab and be busy rather than having to go sit outside and be bored like everyone else. Plus, we got discounted lunches and any extra stuff we wanted--school food isn't the BEST, but I had my favorites, and there was where the perks came in XD
This went on for a while, our unpaid child labor and whatnot XD And then one afternoon the head lunchlady invited me to go to a meeting with her--it was a luncheon where potential menu items for the upcoming school year would be served to guests, who would rate them for placement on the school menu. So...I got to help decide the lunchtime options for thousands of students XD
It was pretty good stuff, though I dunno that any of it ever made it onto students' plates. I was, like, 13 though. Quite a weird, random experience XD
Reply to this entry with a random fun fact or awesome macro (bonus points if it's myu-related!) and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your journal and explain what they mean to you.
( Here's what I got... )
This should be fun... XD
1) Prince of Tennis - Oshitari Yuushi
2) Kuroshitsuji - Sebastian Michaelis
3) D.N.Angel - Krad
4) Kyou Kara Maou - Wolfram
5) Loveless - Soubi (okay, I at the very least am now seeing a pattern with some of these guys...)
6) Heroes - Hiro
7) Harry Potter - Draco Malfoy
8) Hikaru no Go - Shindou Hikaru
9) Gankutsuou - Franz d'Epinay
10) *pnish* (STFU. IT'S A FANDOM) - Tsuchiya "Tuti" Yuuichi
I challenge anyone to find a common link in ALL of them, but I can definitely see a bunch of commonalities in some of them! XD
In other news, because I was feeling nostalgic the other night (I've been feeling that way a lot lately o_O) I went and rewatched SukiSho aka Suki na Mono wa Suki Dakara Shouganai. If you've seen this, you know how bad it is, and if you haven't, know that it may possibly be a worse yaoi anime series than Gravitation, as at least Gravitation had some women in it. You could, of course, argue that the ukes in SukiSho are just women with penises, though. And you'd pretty much be right. Eesh.
But for some reason, I wanted to rewatch it, because I dunno, I just wanted a sappy, really badly cliche love story with boys kissing, and I remembered it at least being remotely entertaining. And it was! Remotely entertaining, at least. And a badly cliche love story, with less boys kissing than I remembered, but nice all the same. ( LJ cut here so that I can talk about spoiler-y stuff )

( Questions and comments! )
Today's happy day will have to wait til the day pans out a little more ^_~ But a few announcements!
OneStepBack (or OSB as I will likely refer to it, as that is a longass name) is semi-up and running! There are a few entries up already, starting at the earliest *pnish* diary entry I could find. It may be kinda all over the place, as far as timelines go, because the WayBack machine is made of awesome but still fails some of the time. Also, the layout I was using didn't have any code to indicate the year on the entries themselves, so I snuck some in by the month, so if it reads like this:
That's August 22, 2003 :) Feel free to make comments, use the translations wherever you need to, and eventually I'll add in Nagayan's as well. Someone's welcome to feed it, but as all these entries are backdated 6 or 7 years, they likely won't show up >_< May not even be worth it? Anyways, have at!
Also, on a quite unrelated note, I've been toying with the idea of posting a picture of something pink and yellow every day, because I keep seeing stuff all around me XD It really just...makes me happy for at least that little part to see fandom reminders all over the place, in the most insignificant ways ^___^ I love you guys, and so I think I'll start doing that ^_^

2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon lulz. Whoo!
One of my very favorite pics of these two, it's a complete....turnaround of their usual relationship :P and it also makes me wonder the order this photoshoot went in, as in another picture it's Daiki with his jacket hanging off of himself, and I'd like to know who was copying whom :P
One of my very first photomanips ;_; Not even terribly shippy, all I did was replace Daiki's head with Nagayan's. I don't do too many manips anymore, mostly because now I don't have to ♥
This is one of those iconic (oh how punny) moments of Tuti and Nagayan. Everyone else's attention is focused elsewhere, and they're having a SEEKRIT CONVURSAYSHUN. Oh u gaiz ♥
Comment here and I will reply to you and tell you what icon of yours I associate you with. Once I reply, repost this in your own journal, because I want to know what icon you associate with me.
First, Nami-san (crazy hyper genki chick I met at Nagayan's Live last December whose first action upon meeting me was to touch my Decossam shirt with awe and say, "...Where did you become Nagayama-san's fan??") was put in charge of mine, Mizuno-san's, and a few other girls' reservations for NagaJo. This means something very important: I DIDN'T HAVE TO CALL AND EMBARRASS MYSELF IN JAPANESE YAAAAAY!! XD I love having Japanese friends <33333
Then, yesterday was supposed to be the announcement for the ticket lottery results for advance ticket sales through *pnish* for Tuti's December play that he's starring in, "Stanley's Witch" -- I'd tried for 2 tickets to the Saturday evening show so that Paula and I could maybe go to the talk event with him afterwards.
Nothing came, so I got a little worried, and checked my spam folder JUST in case...and lo and behold, there was the email _o_ BUT WE GOT THE TICKETS! YAAAAY TALK EVENT WITH TUTI
:D *ahem* anyways.
IN OTHER NEWS!
I was going through some old Look at Star and Top Stage issues I had lying around, and flipped through one that came out around Secret Box last year. In it, Daiki and Wasshi had a little interview for one part, while Tuti, Eiji, and Kimura (Juujou in the show) had their own interview in another part. The following exchange went down in their segment:
Tuti: Daiki-chan's the biggest idiot out of the four of us.
Kimura: Eh? But--isn't Sano-kun...your Leader?
Tuti: YUP. The biggest idiot, but also our Leader.
Eiji: Well, he is kind of an idiot, but he's also got guts. He doesn't lose to anyone when it comes to willpower and spirit!
slidushdlifhsdlifsdd I love how Tuti's just totally flat, "YUP. IDIOT. LEADER IS AN IDIOT." and Eiji has to save Daiki's ass and say "s,dfhsdfs he's not ALL idiot DDDD:"
FIALLY--( Countdown meme )
Stole this from everyone and their brother :D Not too sure what this says about me, other than that I like to start fics off with dialogue XD (usually with Tuti speaking in TxN fics and Daiki in Eiji/Daiki fics...possibly the two I identify with more?)
( Oh~ here we go~ )
